Hey! – just found our new apartment in Dusseldorf!

700m to work – I think I can walk that? Yes I did actually measure the distance on the map! Just viewed the place half an hour ago but we agreed to take it immediately. It is a bit smaller than the place we are in and we will miss the beautiful trees and gardens but we want to be in the heart of town.
The apartment is right in the Media Harbour area near great buildings like the Frank Gehry Zollhof buildings below. My excitable architect sister Helen naturally assumed the apartment was in the Frank Gehry buildings, but I’m afraid not! Will post a pic later!

Yeah great area. The apartment is a good bit smaller than our current one but worth it as it is really nice. Unfortunately we are not actually living in the Frank Gehry building though.
